Portland Mornings

I really look forward to hopping on my bike every morning to head to work. This time of year is my favorite, as it’s still pretty nice weather, but it’s slightly chilly in the mornings. Apparently I’m not the only one who enjoys it.

    Totally awesome view….haven’t seen this type of bike parking volume since I was in Amsterdam!

      This is the only place in Portland that such a thing exists, but it is fun getting to see it every day :)

    Which MAX station is this? It is such a beautiful sight! I moved to New Zealand in 2007. Really miss the cycle culture in Portland. Started a local chapter of Frocks on Bikes here in Tauranga. Slowly establishing a bicycle presence here. Bicycle racks are much needed in our city center. Will work on that next!

      Hey Holly,

      That is actually not a MAX station, but the bottom of the Aerial Tram at the South Waterfront campus of OHSU. The tracks you see are for the streetcar. The bike parking is public, but run in conjunction with OHSU and the Go By Bike bike shop, which is also located right there.
