I was just realizing I never blogged this: while helping our friend set up a garden this summer, I took up 50 pounds of dolomite lime to lay down. This was to balance the acidity of the soil particularly for the tomatoes we had planted.

    I remember When I bought a rack exactely like that this summer on our wisit to Copenhagen the seller, trying to convince me on how strong the rack is said “You can carry at least 5 crates of beer on it at one time..”. Do I look like I would buy 5 crates of beer at one time? I just bought a great foldable plastic crate/basket for it to make sure “stuff” do not fall off the rack  http://www.dutchbikebits.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=62&product_id=221

      Well, it seems they do like beer in Copenhagen :) I’ve thought about getting some kind of a wooden crate to mount on the rack, we’ll see. I can’t decide if I will find it to be more or less convenient :)
