Autumn Mornings

This time of year is often gorgeous in Portland, and many of my mornings feel cool and refreshing, and look like this:

Dave, the top photo is really nice. I thought you’d be brave enough to stand with the bike in the middle of the fountain where the water jets converge (or at least leave your bike there). Do you still play the cello (or any other instrument)? If not, maybe the spokes could be played like a harp.

  I do still play cello, and guitar – but I could still try out the spokes. The only problem is, since they should all be the same gauge and the same tension, they should also be the same note :) But, since I’ve been riding on the wheels for some time now, they are probably all slightly off, so it could make for some interesting music :)
