Today on my bike I had my work bag, a small bag of groceries, and my lunch bowl. What were you carrying along with you?

    Well, this morning I carried food and drink for the workday, a laptop with its power supply, toolkit, a pair of work pants.  Actually, all this stuff I’ve been carrying for several days now.  Usually  I leave the laptop at work, but since a part of my company’s workforce is on (rotating) strike, I need to be ready for not being able to get to my regular workplace.  Sometimes (when there is no laptop) I carry groceries that I buy at a supermarket by my workplace.

      Oh man, hope the strike works itself out (or rather the reasons for the strike).

    I had my lunch, Montessori grammar lessons, a gift for someone leaving, and a large container of pesto pasta salad for a staff party.  I had a plant in my basket on the way back.

     I had my school bag with my books and students’ papers, my laptop, my lunch, and everything I needed to make popcorn the old-fashioned way with my third graders: bag of popcorn, oil, salt, a pot, a large bowl, and paper cups.
