Well, we were out and about in Vilnius yesterday, and while it feels very familiar, some things are changing. We lived here for a year about six years ago, and at the time, I think we probably saw about two people on bikes the whole year. Now there are quite a few, largely younger people, students, etc – though we did see an older guy with a beard and ponytail (but unfortunately didn’t get a photo). Again with the younger people, the fashion is becoming more modern and more European, and people are seeming to open up a bit more in public. It’s nice to be here and see it and we’ll be glad to get some photos up and show you once we get back. Hold tight, they’ll come eventually!
